What Are Trailheads? π§ββοΈπΏ
Imagine standing at the start of a scenic trailβunsure of where it leads but intrigued by the journey ahead. That's what trailheads in Internal Family Systems (IFS) feel like.
These trailheads are the entry points to your inner world, helping you uncover emotions, thoughts, or sensations that signal deeper layers of your psyche. π±β¨
A trailhead might appear as a sudden wave of anxiety, a tightness in your chest, or a recurring memory. Like breadcrumbs leading you through an inner forest, these moments guide you toward Parts that need your care. π§©
