How do you know when you are in "Self"? Dr. Richard Schwartz identified eight qualities that naturally emerge when parts unblend.

Practical Ways to Maximize Self-Energy 🌅🛠️

Conscious Unblending

Notice the "I" vs. the "Part." Instead of "I am angry," try "I notice a part of me is feeling angry." This simple linguistic shift creates immediate Self-Energy.

The 'Check-In' Practice

Several times a day, pause and ask: "How much Self-Energy is present right now?" If it's low, ask your parts to step back just enough to let some light in.

Embodying the 8 Cs

Choose one 'C' to focus on each day. For example, "Today, I will practice Curiosity." When a part gets triggered, respond with curiosity instead of judgment.
